Schneeberger Collective Project Receives 2026 Chatham Preservation Award
HARWICH, MA – May 2026 – Schneeberger Collective is honored to share that our project at 23 Mill Hill Lane in Chatham has been selected as a recipient of a 2026 Chatham Preservation Award. Presented by the Town of Chatham Historical Commission and the Chatham Historical Society, this award recognizes exceptional efforts in preserving and enhancing the town’s historic architecture.
Originally built in 1834, the Cyrus Gould House is a classic full-cape residence that has been thoughtfully preserved and adapted for modern living. Our approach centered on maintaining the home’s historic integrity while introducing subtle additions and contemporary elements that honor the needs of generations to come.
“Projects like this represent the heart of what we do—honoring the past while designing for the future,” said Leslie Schneeberger, Founder and Principal Architect. “We are deeply grateful to our clients for their trust and to the entire project team for their craftsmanship and collaboration in bringing this vision to life.”
The Chatham Preservation Awards celebrate projects that demonstrate excellence in restoration, rehabilitation, and the stewardship of historic properties. The homeowners will be formally recognized at the awards ceremony on June 14, celebrating their commitment to preserving this historic property for future generations.
